THE ORIGINS
COLLECTION ID 01-000
TIMESTAMP: 2024

This collection reflects the explored natural processes mimicked through scientific manipulation, creating objects that felt unearthed rather than constructed. They were not artifacts of a known culture, but of a speculative civilization, one that revered entropy, mineral growth, erosion, and emergent patterns.
FEATURED MATERIALS
EACH SCULPTURE IN THIS FOUNDATIONAL SERIES EMBODIED:
• MATERIAL FIRST-PRINCIPLES — THE USE OF CHEMICALLY REACTIVE PIGMENTS, ORGANIC DECAY FORMS, AND CRYSTALLINE STRUCTURES.
• PURPOSELESSNESS AS SACRED — DESIGNED NOT TO SERVE, BUT TO SUGGEST FUNCTION THAT WAS LOST OVER CENTURIES.
• SENSORY DISSONANCE — SOFT VISUALS WITH SHARP EDGES, MATTE SURFACES WITH TACTILE DEPTH, AND COLORATIONS THAT EVOKE RUST, LICHEN, AND OXIDIZED METALS.
PIECES
SINCE THE ORIGINS COLLECTION, MY PRACTICE HAS UNDERGONE A DISTINCT EVOLUTION — AND WITH EACH RELEASE, DEMAND, VALUE, AND INTERNATIONAL VISIBILITY HAVE GROWN. EARLY PIECES NOW HOLD A HEIGHTENED VALUE, NOT ONLY DUE TO THEIR RARITY AND DISCONTINUED STATUS, BUT BECAUSE THEY MARK A FOUNDATIONAL CHAPTER IN MY PROGRESSION. THEY CAN NO LONGER BE ACQUIRED — ONLY COLLECTED.

Gravitational Study No.1
This was my foundation piece—the one that validated my obsession with material science shaped by nature.
It came at a critical moment, pushing me to keep evolving new formulations or risk the collapse of my entire practice.
Commissioned as the centerpiece for MOLD, a maker lab aligned with my values, it marked the beginning of my sculptural journey. These suspended forms became not just floating rocks, but anchors for a philosophy built on transformation, reinvention, and survival.
1 set was 7 rocks, irregularly sized. Average dimensions:

The Arboreum
My First brave step into the road less travelled.
I Originally created The Arboreum as a test piece of my concept of creating natural environments that require zero maintenance as artpieces for affluent collectors.
This piece revealed a completely new playing field, one that i could finally thrive in. It showed me where i truly belonged and built connections with wonderful individuals who share the same vision of creating something for themselves.
L:90cm x W:70cm x H:15cm
Sold at: 1000 USD
Current value: 8,000 USD

The Arboreum XL
The piece that changed everything.
I entered the market unsure of what I could contribute—until one client believed in the vision.
That belief became this: a monumental commission for Dexterton’s flagship building in Manila, designed to reflect their values of innovation and enduring care.
This sculpture laid the foundation for my breakthrough recrystallized rock formulation. It was forged under intense pressure—technically, emotionally, and symbolically. And it held.

Sold at: 15,000 USD
Current value: 60,000 USD

The Amoeba
A foundational concept piece that unlocked my exploration of irregular, organic forms—fluid, formless, and alive.
Commissioned as a centerpiece, it brought a sense of breath and movement into a private residence, offering both stillness and quiet tension.
The first of its kind in my body of work, and a turning point in how I shape material behavior.

The Womb of the wall
Inspired by the way caterpillars build cocoons in tight, unlikely spaces, this piece marked a turning point in my material practice.
It challenged me to develop lightweight yet dramatic formulations for delicate interiors—techniques that now define my newer works.
The Cocoon Boulder remains a foundational study in compression, transformation, and the instinct to create sanctuary—captured in sculptural form.

National Geographic
The most demanding piece I’ve ever created. 43 large boulders, engineered to appear impossibly stacked—yet lightweight enough to stand on their own.
I developed custom rock formulations and internal support systems to meet extreme structural demands.
Commissioned by the brand that sparked my love for science, this was more than a sculpture—it was a milestone.

Morton's Boulder
My Final Piece before departing from commission work; This piece was created to reflect the mountain ranges of where they source their prime steaks from. a testament and a bow to their ingredient's origins, I sought to create a centerpiece for Morton's Steakhouse's Flagship store in The Philippines.
